You nailed it, but I'd like to hear some opinions. When there are no theatrics are there situations where arrest is "the moral upper hand" or better yet, effective? For example in the circumstance that the police come uninvited to break up a protest and that breakup threatens the goal of the protesters (say simply occupying a public space or saving some trees) is arrest preferable to breakup?
